Conner has been weighing himself weekly for the past three years. All with the hope that he would weigh 50 pounds so that he could go hunting from a deer stand. Well, it finally happened - he weighed in at 50 and the first thing he asked was to go out in the deer stand! Now, Drew is on a weekly watch praying for that lucky number 50 to show up on the scale!

Oh, Christmas Tree
We found another perfect Christmas tree this year. Yes, it is too big for our house. Yes, we had to move all of the furniture. Yes, the star is crooked because we can reach the top and, Yes, it is full of loom bracelets made into garland and most ornaments are made out of playdoh or Popsicle sticks - but Yes, it is perfect! We love going to cut down our tree each year. I especially love it when the sun is shining and the kids can run around without their coats! Brenna was crawling everywhere - so much so that the knees of her white tights were brown. The boys ran and ran and helped cut down the tree! I love making these perfect memories!

Special Firsts
Brenna's First Opening Day!
Conner's first all-school mass that his class planned. (Conner carried down the bible, greeted people coming to mass and read a petition)
Drew's first wresting practice!
Halloween Tricks and Treats
I love watching the excitement in the kids' eyes when they trick-or-treat. They get so excited to see their friends and they absolutely cannot wait for all of the treats! Once of our local farmers decorates every year for Halloween. This year, the theme was Monster's Inc. Poor Brenna didn't know what to think!
We also went trick-or-treating at the firm this year. The kids had a great time. They love coming to the office. Even on breaks when I ask them what they want to do, they always say - "can we go to work with you?" We had a blast!Of course, our favorite part about Halloween is trick-or-treating around the lake. We usually all ride on an open trailer with hay bales. This year though, it was FREEZING! We were lucky enough that Shannon took us around in an enclosed trailer.
Here are a few pictures of Conner and Drew's classroom parties. Oh my - the kids had SO much sugar this year!!
Oh and can't forget - our mailbox got hit. So, against my wishes, the boys in our house picked out a new mailbox. You can see that they thought Brenna makes the best fish bait!
Pumpkin carving 2014
Pumpkin carving is always a big deal and a very long day for our family. Our tradition is to let each child choose their own pumpkin. They also get to choose how to carve it. Sometimes this becomes extremely difficult -if not impossible! This year Conner wanted a bass and Drew wanted a scary face. Miss Brenna didn't decide- but I can't wait to learn what she chooses as she grows up!
