Fall Break - 2018 - Destin, Florida
I love vacations with our family. Not only do we get to get away to warmer weather but we all get to be together all day, every day! This year, Hurricane Michael hit the panhandle the day before we were supposed to leave. We knew that it would hit somewhere between Destin and Panama City but forecasters couldn't pin it until it hit. It was an interesting experience because at first you worry about vacation and rescheduling but then you VERY quickly become aware that this world is so much bigger and greater than you are. You begin to imagine the potential devastation, the potential loss of homes and lives and a complete change in many peoples "normal". The hurricane did not hit Destin so we were able to go on with our vacation as planned - but our thoughts and prayers were with their neighbors the entire trip.
The kids loved the beach, the pool, feeding the alligators, eating seafood, playing beach football, "scuba" diving, wave riding and pontooning to crab island. We had a wonderful trip!
More Football -- Final days of Danville and the beginning of St. Malachy Football!
I LOVE being a football mom! I love watching a team come together. I love watching the kids learn so much about the sport but so much more about life. Most of all, I LOVE watching Drew in his element. Drew tries so hard. He never gives up. He loves football - everything about it. I love watching him play!
