Easter 2010
Drew was released from the hospital two days before Easter! However, we were lucky enough that the Easter Bunny was in Danville and stopped to see all of the kids at the hospital!
Easter with Conner was so much fun this year. He really enjoyed "hunting" them. Yes, he thought he was actually going to shoot Easter eggs...I know, definitely his father's son. We had a great day with MawMaw Jacque, PawPaw Jerry and Patrick!
As you know from Christmas, Conner gets very excited about leaving Santa (and now the Easter Bunny) treats for when they visit our house. We often find him going through the cabinets and setting treats out "just in case" Santa comes. So as you see, the Easter Bunny got beer, orange joice, cookies, doughnuts and carrots. What a lucky Easter Bunny!
Conner's first hunting trip!
So Jason decided to take the plunge during turkey season this year and take Conner hunting for this first time. So it was the real deal. I watched as Jason went in to wake Conner up very early in the morning. He leaned over and whispered, "Conner, are you ready to go hunting with Daddy?" Conner jumped up and was ready to get his "hunting clothes" on. Conner must have brought Jason tons of luck, because Jason and Conner both got their first turkey's that day. I don't know who was more excited, Jason or Conner. Drew and I were very excited when we got the call that they got one!
Conner kept saying that this turkey slept a lot!!!

Welcome Home, Drew!
We welcomed Drew Stephen McClellan into the world on March 31st at 8:05 am. He weighed 8 lbs 2 ounces and was 19.5 inches long! My delivery went perfect this time. So much so that I remember looking at Jason and saying, I could do this again! I can't remember if he responded or not!!!
Right after Drew was delivered, he was taken to the NICU because he had fluid on his lungs. They say this is common with babies delivered via cesarean, but I will tell you that it was one of the scariest things Jason and I have ever dealt with. Drew was admitted and spent the first 24 hours of his life in the NICU. We could not hold or feed him. It was a blessing that Jason was allowed to go in and hold his hand. My nurse also wheeled me, bed - IV's and all, into see him as well. All of our prayers were answered and he was released to us around 9:30 on April 1st! We are so thankful for all of the wonderful nurses and doctors at Hendricks County!
Conner is a very big help with Drew. The first few days, I must admit, were more of an adjustment than I ever dreamed of. Conner struggled with having someone new at our house. Slowly, he has adjusted and seems to be in a great place right now. He asks to hold Drew and talks a lot about all that they have in common. It also helps that Jason is home for three weeks because he and Conner do a lot of special things and then Jason takes Drew so that I can have my time with Conner. Jason and I are truly blessed and it is with much joy that we introduce you to Drew...

Almost There....
Well, we are almost there...April 6th is less than a month away!!!! Here are the most recent pictures of Baby Mac! Isn't he just precious? I think he looks so much like his brother...once again a McClellan through and through! We shall see for sure in just a few more weeks!
Here is the start of his room! Dozers and Diggers in our theme this time around (Conner was the big influence on this one!) I will post more pictures once it is done, but it is really coming along!
Oh, here is Conner in his room (he wanted to show his as well!) He is getting so big! I love listening to all of his questions and all of the things he says: My favorites things this week...

Oh, here is Conner in his room (he wanted to show his as well!) He is getting so big! I love listening to all of his questions and all of the things he says: My favorites things this week...he has an imaginary friend; red bear and takes care of him like it is a baby; he is dressing himself (demands to do it) so his outfits consist of either the same shirt and pants or three shirts (at once) backwards camo pants that are too short and orange knee high socks; he asked if we could fly to heaven instead of Florida for our vacation; he tried to buy everything at Walmart not for himself, but for his girlfriend, Shugy (so thoughtful and wow, how things will change); he tried to put grapes in my belly-button because he said Baby Mac was hungry. He is at such a fun age, but also testing the water for sure...wish us luck!
Oh, here is Shugy..."my girlfriend" as Conner says.
In January, we also said, "See you soon" to our friends Joni, Mike, Owen and Sam. They got the opportunity of a life time and will be living in England for about two years! We can't wait to visit them! Joni said the other day that Owen described his toast as "brilliant" it reminds me of the kids in Ireland! We better try to get over there soon and bring some redneck twang back to the Stevens' boys!
Welcome Baby H! Conner was very excited to meet his girlfriend's little brother Trenton! Congratulations to Kyle, Carissa and Makayla!

B and Mimi welcomed Mackinley Allen into the world on January 24th! Conner was so excited to meet him! Oh and you bet he had plenty of questions for MiMi! He loves to go visit "baby kinley" as he calls him and he loves to "help" Mimi and B change and feed him! Congrats Brent and Miranda!
Can you imagine how much fun all of these baby boys (and their dads) are going to have!!!!!

Winter fun!
After Christmas, I found the "Christmas Classic" movies and decided to buy them for Conner when he decided that he was ready to watch movies. When I got home, I told him about the movies, and being so close to Christmas, he really wanted to see what Rudolph looked like. So, I put the movie in and we have watched that movie 3 times a day since then! His other obsession with the movie is Herby. Remember him? The elf that didn't like to make toys, but wanted to be a dentist? Well, during this movie marathon Conner went to see our dentist for the first time (he had been to a pediatric dentist when he fell, but we love our Dr. Geymen). So now, we talk about Rudolph, Herby and Dr. Geymen daily! "Mommy, Herby doesn't like to make toys. He be dentist like Dr. Geymen. Daddy, you break your tooth? You see Dr. Geymen? " Conner is really talking now in full sentences and saying things that you can't even begin to imagine!
So for me (since I am SO much younger than Jason!!!) this is going to be the year that most of our friends turn 30 (except for the few that are already old and the few that are very young!) We went up to Freemont to celebrate Lindsay's 30th with her and some of the other girls from law school! We had too much fun and Conner got to swim! He did so well! It made us ready for summer that much more!

So, I keep getting emails...Kristin, where are the pictures of you? Well, to be frank, they are hidden or torn up! Just kidding, but I do hide them or remove tags of me! I am almost 30 weeks now and lets just say that Baby Mac is measuring two weeks ahead just like his brother did. My work shoes are no longer cute, they look like nurse shoes and my tennis shoes make me happy on the weekends! Even though this baby will be born in the Spring, I have already swelled more than I ever did with Conner! So pictures of me and the family are forth coming...in about two years!!! Another reason I am not in pictures...well lets just say that I fear more things than my boys do. Say for example, going out on the ice...
Conner went ice fishing with the boys. Boy did they have fun! Even looking at the pictures makes me nervous!
