RACE Weekend!

We decided to wait another year before Conner attends the Indy 500 Festivities...but we did take him to a race at ORP. He loved the vroom vrooms and waived as they went by. As we knew though, he met a 22 month old little girl and liked watching her and her brothers more than the cars!Conner also went racing on a tube for the first time this year. The water was a little choppy with the holiday weekend, so we will have to try it again soon when the water is a little smoother. However, he is doing much better in his life jacket this year! (we are VERY excited about that!)This weekend, Conner also went racing on the "wheeler" with some of his friends! We all had a blast and Conner talked about it the whole way home!Yes, we had to take breaks from our wheeler ride so that Stone, Conner and Griffen could talk to the baby moos!Conner had so much fun racing the wheelers that he had to go to sleep with one! Sweet wheelin' dreams, Conner Mac!

A Collection of Conner...

Happy late Mother's Day to all of those wonderful moms out there! To celebrate Mother's Day, we went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa McNulty, Uncle Brad and Uncle Patrick! It was a great day and it was so much fun!
When I was little, I used to dress my brothers up and make them pose while I took their pictures (someday I will have to scan them in), too funny. Here I was trying to get the three of them to show me their "walrus" husks...Brad was the only one who caught on, I guess!
Meet Terry the turtle. Jason ran over him on accident and brought him home. He went everywhere with Conner. This week though, he went to live with his family out in the woods. We miss him and Conner misses having a buddy to drag around everywhere! I am sure we will find one of Terry's brothers or sisters sometime this summer! I got a new camera for Mother's Day! I am trying to learn how to use it. It has stabilization control and can take 33 pictures in two seconds! Hopefully I will now be able to catch Conner more often!

F-L-O-R-I-D-A 2009!

We had a wonderful vacation! Conner was great on both flights, even slept a little on the way down!
Conner loved absolutely everything about the beach and the pool. We are thankful he is signed up for swim lessons this summer, because he would jump off the side of the pool whether we were ready or not. It was amazing to realize how much he had grown since we were in Florida last year, not only would he tell us when he was cold, ready to eat, or ready to take a nap, but he would say hello to all of the people, lizards, fish and birds!

For the first time, we visited the Sarasota Jungle Gardens. It reminded me a lot of the old Indy zoo. Conner, once again was fearless when it came to the animals: me on the other hand, about had a heart attack!

We can't wait until next year!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Conner started preparing for Easter on Friday night. We made Easter Cookies and colored eggs. By the time we were finished, it seemed as if we were coloring a little boy instead of Easter eggs! He did a great job (besides the fact that he threw the eggs into the bowls, ate them (shells and all) and drank the food coloring...which had vinegar in it...which he quickly spit out all over the place!)We had a hard time teaching him that eggs are covered in a shell. By the third bite, he finally understood! Easter morning was a lot of fun! Conner definitely caught on quickly. However, once he learned that there was candy inside, he was done hunting and just wanted to snack! Then we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa McNulty, Brad, Amanda, Patrick, Uncle Bill and Aunt Mindy. Grandma and Grandpa Easter Bunny went way out for Mr. Conner. We called his Easter Basket the Easter Bath-tub! He must have been extra good this year (or he is just extra spoiled!!!) Then we had an Easter Egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpas. It was so fun to have a little one around again! I think we all got a kick out of watching him hunt for the eggs. Plus, the eggs at Grandma and Grandpas were filled with fruit snacks and chocolates, so Conner was REALLY hyper half way through, which made it even more fun to watch (especially when he was drinking out of the fountains and trying to swim with the fish!)
Conner had to take lots of breaks to feed Grandpa's fish (see Grandpa lets him feed them as often and as much as he wants!)I love the picture below. Definitely makes you focus on the beauty of and reason for Easter. We are blessed.
On Saturday, we celebrated Beckett's second birthday! Hard to believe, isn't it?!?!? I wish I had better pictures, but we were too busy keeping the boys from fighting over Beckett's new toys! Happy Birthday, Beckett!
Conner also had some Carmen time, which he loves. Carmen watches Conner for us when we go out on the weekend. We are lucky to have her in our lives and Conner LOVES flirting with her.

Whew! Fun Times!

We spent this past weekend at Great Wolf Lodge with the Braeger's! Conner had a blast swimming and running all over the place! He even went down a water slide! We also quickly learned that we are going to be on our toes all summer long! Swim lessons are a must, ASAP! The boys all got along great! As you can see, they are definitely the Three Musketeers!
We also ran into the Easter Bunny on Friday night. The first thing Jason said when we were leaving was, "I can't believe Conner will try to chase the bulls and he was afraid of the Easter Bunny!" Yep, first thing we have found that he is afraid of...the Easter Bunny!
Oh, but he did give the Easter Bunny knuckles right when we were leaving!
Conner also started his first job working with McCullough Excavating (oh, how he wishes!) Thanks to Shannon for letting Conner learn the ropes and for fixing our yard!

Two weeks until vacation! We are definitely ready!
