It's County Fair Time; See our pize winning.....

1) Prize Winning....Dresser! yep, Conner loves to dress himself. This is what we get when we let him do it!2) Our Prize Winning... Barefooters. Conner loved watching Jason barefoot so much so that he cried that he wanted to "foot". So, here is his first attempt at 23 months old. Afterwards, Jason said to me, "So do you think people would think the same of us as they did of MJ when he held his kid over the balcony; because we are hanging our kid out of the boat?" My short reply as I uncovered my eyes, "Um, exactly!" Conner needs a permanent No Fear sticker on his forehead! 3) Our Prize Winning...Swimmer! Conner is loving his swim lessons (and his swim "teacher" Bailey who was also a fair queen...BUT he would not sit with her with her crown on!)
Daddy telling Conner where he can and cannot jump

Happy 2nd Birthday to Conner on August 4, 2009! Pictures to come. We are gearing up for a farm party with 10 little animals (kids) coming over to play!

4th of July!

Even with the rain, we had a great 4th of July! Friday night we had the kids fire-work show over at Toby and Tiffany's and the kids enjoyed every minute of it! Saturday we stayed in but still had fun!
We are working with the boys to try to get them up on the zip-sled this year! We shall see...

B and Mimi's!

Conner is having so much fun (as always) at B and Mimi's. Since he can talk now, he wakes up talking about the "baby digger" the barns and the bombines (aka...combines). We are going to have his 2nd birthday party be a farm theme, so Mimi has been helping me gather pictures. Conner has been busy combining wheat, crawling through B's corn, picking Mimi's veggies and flowers (sorry Mimi), talking to the cows, and running away to Tarolyns!!! He loves his friends at the office (Miranda's family's business and farm). He has a farm book with tons of different tractors and points and says, "Hi B!" "Hi Mark" "Hi Moe" "Hi Steve" Hi Lance" "Hi Jack" "Hi Reese". Special thanks to all of the guys for making Conner feel at home and teaching him all about farming and for developing his true love for Cheetos!

Also, big kisses up to heaven to Mimi's paw-paw Charles...we will miss him! I think he took Conner for his first tractor (mower) ride (and gave Mimi her first Conner heart-attack). A true symbol of a true patriarch who truly loved our Conner.

4) The weather was nice enough for skiing (Conner...not so much yet, just practicing)
5) Conner will start swimming lessons
6) Happy Father's Day, Jason!!!
7) Conner learned how to drive off-road (with his hood up or helmet on; as he says. Yes, he is his father's son!) I don't think I have laughed that hard in years!

RACE Weekend!

We decided to wait another year before Conner attends the Indy 500 Festivities...but we did take him to a race at ORP. He loved the vroom vrooms and waived as they went by. As we knew though, he met a 22 month old little girl and liked watching her and her brothers more than the cars!Conner also went racing on a tube for the first time this year. The water was a little choppy with the holiday weekend, so we will have to try it again soon when the water is a little smoother. However, he is doing much better in his life jacket this year! (we are VERY excited about that!)This weekend, Conner also went racing on the "wheeler" with some of his friends! We all had a blast and Conner talked about it the whole way home!Yes, we had to take breaks from our wheeler ride so that Stone, Conner and Griffen could talk to the baby moos!Conner had so much fun racing the wheelers that he had to go to sleep with one! Sweet wheelin' dreams, Conner Mac!

A Collection of Conner...

Happy late Mother's Day to all of those wonderful moms out there! To celebrate Mother's Day, we went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa McNulty, Uncle Brad and Uncle Patrick! It was a great day and it was so much fun!
When I was little, I used to dress my brothers up and make them pose while I took their pictures (someday I will have to scan them in), too funny. Here I was trying to get the three of them to show me their "walrus" husks...Brad was the only one who caught on, I guess!
Meet Terry the turtle. Jason ran over him on accident and brought him home. He went everywhere with Conner. This week though, he went to live with his family out in the woods. We miss him and Conner misses having a buddy to drag around everywhere! I am sure we will find one of Terry's brothers or sisters sometime this summer! I got a new camera for Mother's Day! I am trying to learn how to use it. It has stabilization control and can take 33 pictures in two seconds! Hopefully I will now be able to catch Conner more often!

F-L-O-R-I-D-A 2009!

We had a wonderful vacation! Conner was great on both flights, even slept a little on the way down!
Conner loved absolutely everything about the beach and the pool. We are thankful he is signed up for swim lessons this summer, because he would jump off the side of the pool whether we were ready or not. It was amazing to realize how much he had grown since we were in Florida last year, not only would he tell us when he was cold, ready to eat, or ready to take a nap, but he would say hello to all of the people, lizards, fish and birds!

For the first time, we visited the Sarasota Jungle Gardens. It reminded me a lot of the old Indy zoo. Conner, once again was fearless when it came to the animals: me on the other hand, about had a heart attack!

We can't wait until next year!
