With Conner making it to Nationals, we had to reschedule our summer vacation! We ended up in Hilton Head, South Carolina and it ended up being the perfect little get-away. We had fun at the beach, in the pool, fishing, going to the spa and visiting Savannah, Georgia! As always, the best part of vacation is just sitting back and watching the kids - it is amazing how much you miss about them on a day to day basis when the demands at home and work take your attention away. You miss out on the every day things - how they are when they first get up, how they have learned to ask more meaningful questions, how they are such creatures of habit, how they love more deeply each year and most of all, how much they don't need Jason and I anymore. They all three do almost everything for themselves. I am so proud of all three of them!
