Christmas is coming!!!

The boys are so excited for Christmas this year!  It is amazing to see it in their eyes and hear it in their voices (yep, even Drew's).  You know, this Elf on a Shelf thing is very popular.  We have not had an elf visit our house yet but I am thinking we may invite one next year.  Instead, we have big candy canes that Santa either takes away or moves if the boys are on the naughty list and leaves them hanging in the window if the boys (or one of the boys) is on the nice list.  The bad thing about the candy canes is that they often become the reason for why one of the boys is on the naughty list.  They use the candy canes as swords, guns, pool sticks - anything you can imagine.  I got to visit Conner's class for their Christmas party and I saw an elf in action.  They are amazing.  The kids would listen any time the teacher mentioned "glee" (the preschool elf's name).  So maybe, just maybe, we will have a McClellan elf next year!  Here are a few pictures from Conner's class Christmas party.  The kids had a great time but were sugared out by lunch time!

We also had a Christmas outing with all of the McClellan nieces and nephews.  It was great fun to see all of the kids together and enjoy the downtown Christmas events together.  Here is Harrison, Conner, Hilary, Madelyn, Hadley and Drew!

Only 2 more days!

O' Christmas Tree...

We had a great time at the tree farm this year!  The weather was perfect - so warm that we did not need to wear coats.  After a few hours, Jason finally found the perfect tree! We also had our Christmas Card photo shoot (which the boys LOVED!).  Christmas is now just a week away - hard to believe how quickly this year has gone by...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!  Love, the McClellan's

Fall Fun!

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year - mostly because in the beginning it is nice enough to water ski and by the end, we can sled in the snow.  To be honest, I really didn't get any great fall pictures with the leaves this year.  But here are a few of my favorites.  Conner is now riding his four-wheeler without the training rope.  He loves it and I know that Jason does as well.  I love this picture below.  As you can see, when they drive together, Jason is always telling Conner where he should be and Conner is always watching and listening.  It is amazing what great friends Jason and Conner are right now.  They do EVERYTHING together.

Jason took Drew hunting for the first time a few weeks ago in Jeremiah's back yard.  Thank goodness I waited in the house, because Drew was done after 10 minutes!

We had a great Thanksgiving.  Jason and I hosted at our house.  It was great to have everyone together.  We played games and ate way too much!  This year, like every year, we have so much to be thankful for.  We are blessed.

And the morning after Thanksgiving...the Christmas decorations slowly came out! The boys are so excited for Santa to come and for Jesus' birthday cake!

Yes, it takes about 300 pictures before I find the right one for our Christmas cards!  Thank goodness we have digital cameras!
