Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We had a great Christmas this year. Unfortunately, for the first time in a long time, I forgot my camera at most of our family parties...I guess I will blame it on being pregnant! Speaking of, it is hard to believe that in just three months baby Mac will be joining us! As I was ordering our 2010 calendar, it was so hard to believe that next year he will be here!
On another note; Conner loved everything about Christmas this year. He loved watching the old Christmas classics, singing Frosty the snowman, learning about Jesus living in a barn on a farm (I know...but we thought that was close to a manger in the desert), and being very good because Santa was always watching!~ He was so good that Santa treated him very well this year....let's see....his favorites were dozers, diggers, semis, a bow, train table, basketball goal, easel....and because his daddy promised helmets and a governor (I think that is how you spell it)...his very own four wheeler....

We are all truly blessed. Thank you for being a very important part of our family and we look forward to sharing our 2010 memories with you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Tis the season!

We had fun visiting the Christmas tree farm! We were all thankful it was not freezing this year! Conner wanted this tree (I was thankful because I was for sure he would ask for a humongous one!)
Our tree; that seemed to be the right size and perfect shape at the tree farm...once we got it home it was huge and curves at the top at almost a 90 degree angle!

It still turned out beautiful, though!

Conner, Jason, Mawmaw, Pawpaw, Toby, Tiffany, Brody, Beckett, Saylor, David, Madelyn, Kevin, Suzy, Griffen and I all went to the HL Christmas party on Saturday night. The kids had a great time and seeing Santa come in on the firetruck was worth waiting in the cold! Conner loved the fireworks too and kept asking Jason if he could touch them.

First trip to visit Santa: NO TEARS! All week long Conner told us, "Yous sit on Santa's lap, not mes" "You tell him I want diggers, backhoes, graintrucks: Ok?" So, we were glad when he at least agreed to get close enough to Santa to tell him what he wanted. Afterwards, I asked Conner if he told Santa what his BABY BROTHER wanted and he said "Just mes!" So, the McClellan family has received our first Christmas gift this year...Baby Boy McClellan No. 2 looks happy and healthy and is growing very fast; we are excited to meet him in 2010!

Notice Conner's buck on Daddy's? He also brought his cow...

Already November???

Where does time go? It is hard to believe that Halloween is already over and 107.9 has already switched over to Christmas carols!!! Jason and I have a shopping date next Saturday to get started (and hopefully finished) Christmas shopping...we shall see!
So since I have last posted, we have been busy having fun, raking leaves, dressing up, winterizing and all that comes with cold weather. One weekend we visited Mimi, Carolyn and Maurice at Raccoon. Conner was so excited to see them and his friends, Stone and Makayla. No fighting that day!

We had a Halloween party at our house on Halloween night. Last year I was bummed that "country" trick-or-treating was so different from "city" trick-or-treating. So we had a Halloween party for all of the kids (and adults too)! It was great to see all of the kids in their costumes together and it was fun to watch them play all of the games.

Conner was a monkey for Halloween this year and definitely played the role!

I forgot to post a picture of our pumpkins! We had so much fun carving them with Conner this year!

This Tuesday marks the half way point of my pregnancy. It is hard to believe that 20 weeks have come and gone so quickly. We are busy trying to come up with ideas for the nursery and trying to remember what we need and what we don't need. We have decided to wait until the day after Thanksgiving to move the office out and the baby furniture upstairs. It is killing me! I want to get it all done right now! This pregnancy is very similar to my last, just a little more uncomfortable and a lot more nervous. I am ready for March/April to get here and to meet our little one. Won't be long now! In case I don't post before Thanksgiving, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. We are very thankful for each of you!

Getting ready for Halloween!

We carved 4 pumpkins today: one for daddy, one for mommy, one for Conner and one for Baby Mac. Conner was a huge help!

Finished products!!! He is very excited to make them "glow in the bark"

We also went to Sam's third Birthday Party! Happy Birthday Sam!

This weekend we went with Mimi to visit Reece, Tarolyn, Shugy and Stone. Conner had too much fun playing with everyone!

Happy 30th Birthday Toby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FALL

Conner went to the pumpkin patch with his friend Stone last weekend. Stones mommy, daddy and baby brother went too and we had so much fun watching the boys try to find a pumpkin that they could carry.
These boys are rotten for sure, but Courtney and I blame it on Mimi!

We are also busy around the house making sure that everything is ready for winter. Conner has been a huge help this year. However, he thinks that now he needs to winterize all of his toys.

Here he is winterizing his jeep. Heads up...if you come over or Conner comes to your house he will want to work on your cars too. The other day Brody called and asked if Conner could come work on his car. The best thing is, is that no matter who you are: how old, how young, how pregnant, if you are over, Conner will ask you to help.

Not now; I wurkin'

So Conner's new thing is that he is always working. Or at least that is what he says. Whenever you tell him to come in and eat, "I can't Mommy, I wurkin" He is obsessed with work. He asks Mimi every morning right when he gets there if he can go to wurk. I think it started because we visited Jason at work and Conner was in love with "Daddy's woo-woo ban" (van)

Then, as you know, Mimi and B live on a farm right next to her family business, so they get to see people working all of the time. Everything in Conner's world seems to be broke and needs "fixdid" : the combines, Daddy's woo-woo ban, B's neck, Mommy's car cause she hit rackhoon. He gets out his cell phone to call Daddy, B or Wance to tell them what needs fixdid. Then he quickly looks up and says, I have to wurk. Bye. He grabs a wrench and starts working on whatever is "broke" at that moment.
Here he is fixing his "bombine" because its out of gas.
And here he is fixdin his fishing pole. Yes, please notice the good luck hat. I owe Jason for that one, but at least it gives the fishermen a good laugh when they drive by. I think we are in for the ride of our lives!
